Tristan Tom | through the lens

My name is Tristan Tom and I'm a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer. After obtaining a dual B.A. degree in Filmmaking and Media Communications at California State University, Sacramento, I worked in theatre production and property management for a time and then for Hollywood visual effects production companies including Lucasfilm Industrial Light and Magic, Cinesite Digital Studios (A Kodak Company) and in multimedia for Disney Interactive. I now make a living photographing commercial and stock, portraits, and lifestyle, and I’m also a Support Hero at SmugMug, INC.

Client list includes: CSAA (California State Automobile Association), Four Seasons Residences, Sourcebooks INC, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Cambridge University Press and Pier 39 in San Francisco.
