After studying Filmmaking and Media Communications at university, Tristan Tom worked for a number of Hollywood visual effects production companies including Lucasfilm Industrial Light and Magic, Cinesite Digital Studios (A Kodak Company) and in multimedia for Disney Interactive. He now photographs primarily portraits, fashion, lifestyle, engagements and weddings, stock photography, in addition to fine art photographs. Tristan brings cinematic influences to his photography to tell a compelling story.
Client list includes: CSAA (California State Automobile Association), Four Seasons luxury condos, Pier 39 and numerous private parties. Tristan has been commissioned for music CD album covers, his images published on book covers and exhibited at the Museum de l’Elyse in Lausanne, Switzerland.
He currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and is available for worldwide bookings.
