After studying Filmmaking and Media Communications at university, Tristan Tom worked for Hollywood visual effects production companies including Lucasfilm Industrial Light and Magic, Cinesite Digital Studios (A Kodak Company) and in multimedia for Disney Interactive. He now makes a living photographing commercial and stock, portraits, and lifestyle, and is also a Support Hero at SmugMug, INC.
Tristan’s photography has been published on book covers, greeting cards, in magazines, and in calendars as well exhibited at the Museum de l’Elyse in Lausanne, Switzerland. (Prints of his work are available).
Client list includes: CSAA (California State Automobile Association), Four Seasons Residences, Sourcebooks INC, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Cambridge University Press and Pier 39 in San Francisco. His work is featured in many private collections as well.
Tristan is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
