After studying Filmmaking and Media Communications at university, Tristan Tom worked for Hollywood visual effects production companies including Lucasfilm Industrial Light and Magic, Cinesite Digital Studios (A Kodak Company) and in multimedia for Disney Interactive. He now photographs primarily portraits, lifestyle and commercial. Tristan always strives to bring cinematic influences to his photography to tell a compelling story.
His work has appeared on book covers and exhibited at the Museum de l’Elyse in Lausanne, Switzerland. (Framed fine art prints of his work are available).
Client list includes: CSAA (California State Automobile Association), Four Seasons Residences, Sourcebooks INC, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Cambridge University Press and Pier 39 in San Francisco. His work is in many private collections as well.
Tristan is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
