Canon 5D MKII Update

eosbig Canon 5D MKII Update

I finally received the Canon 5D MKII that I had pre-ordered and have been playing around with it quite a bit. It’s been a fun adjustment getting used to shooting HD videos with it and working within the limitations that come with shooting videos with a DSLR camera. I hope to be able post some videos and images soon.

I found the following two videos very helpful in learning about some of the quirks to shooting videos with the camera:

Also, Canon has already released a firmware update 1.0.7  for the 5D MKII that fixes the ‘black dot’ issue among other things.

Happy 2009 by the way! Let’s hope 2009 is better than 2008.
