Hi! I'm Tristan Tom, a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer shooting mostly portraits, lifestyle, stock and commercial. This blog follows both my personal and professional life. Like most, I’ve got opinions and musings on a diverse range of subjects, some of which will be featured throughout the blog along with my photographic endeavors. I encourage you to leave comments on anything you see or read here. And, tell a friend about it too! Also, here's a short bio.

Thanks for visiting! I look forward to hearing from you.

I’m really liking the WordPress platform so far. I’ve already added several features that were surprisingly easy to add via plug-ins.

One that I just added last night is my contact form (at the top navbar above) complete with captcha (the anti-spam 4 digit code that you have to type before submitting to prove you are a real person). I’m using the Contact Form 7 plugin for this.

I’ve also added a few back end plug-ins for automated backups, search statistics and automated Google sitemap creation. Additionally, I’ve added a randomizing bio picture so that you get a different picture of me each time you visit.

You can read a bit more about why I switched blog systems via my prior post below.
