My name is Tristan Tom and I'm a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer. After obtaining a dual B.A. degree in Filmmaking and Media Communications at California State University, Sacramento, I worked in theatre production and property management for a time and then for Hollywood visual effects production companies including Lucasfilm Industrial Light and Magic, Cinesite Digital Studios (A Kodak Company) and in multimedia for Disney Interactive. I now make a living photographing commercial and stock, portraits, and lifestyle, and I’m also a Support Hero at SmugMug, INC.

How’d you do the blur and the vignetting – Lensbaby? Photoshop?
I just got a lensbaby v.1.0, been having lots of fun with it.
Hi Kurt, I use tilt-shift lenses but not for this shot. This one was shot nearly wide open with the vignette added in Photoshop.
