Tag Archives: color For some reason, the marina where I live always does fireworks the day before the actual 4th of July. Here’s a 2 minute study I made from my living room balcony tonight. Happy 4th of July!  I just finished editing shots from a photo shoot I did with Karen-current UC Berkeley student and grad school applicant extraordinaire. And I’ve been playing with a cool piece of equipment that I recently got-an Alien Bees Ringflash. These shots were lit with the ringflash at various settings. While I can’t say I’ve completely mastered…  I had the pleasure of shooting a portrait session with Dalyte last week. We were sort of going for “urban chic”: Dalyte had “the reddest dress ever” and we happened upon “the bluest wall ever” so we just HAD to shoot there!: Thanks for shooting with me Dalyte!  Here I present some portraits I made of Taylor a while back. She is currently with the Ford Modeling agency in San Francisco.
